Winglet

Pedagogy at Winglet involves a high level of engagement which has a healthy mix of self learning and instructor led live sessions. Depending on your preferences you can choose between self learning plans or instructor led courses. All the content is delivered digitally which includes text resources, video lectures, adaptive and gamified quizzes, sample papers and accident analysis. The live sessions are a healthy mix of fun and learning where we learn concepts and solve questions. Feedback is an essential part of learning at Winglet. After you take the online tests for each topic, we sit and discuss your answers. We do not tell you what is right. Instead, I tell you where you went wrong. This enhances the learning curve exponentially.  Flying is something that humans are not designed to do. Which means that our natural mental faculties and physiological design are ill-equipped to handle the requirements of flying which requires quick reflexes and fast decision-making.  Ground subjects training is an essential part of skill building. Apart from regulatory requirements for acquiring a licence, it equips you with the foundation to acquire new skills during your growth as a pilot. Pilots who can build a common sense of aviation are not only able to clear their exams faster but also cope up better in flying training. They are more likely to handle critical situations in a better manner just because of the abilities that they acquired through their ground training.  Statistically about 70% of all air accidents are caused by Human Errors which are many a times a result of lack of sense of aviation which has seen a gradual erosion by the increasing levels of automation. At winglet we are not about knowledge only, we are about developing these abilities which would help you even after you clear your exams. Pilots don’t need too much knowledge. Instead, they need an enormous common sense to use the knowledge and resources at their disposal effectively.
